Out and About in the Spring Sunshine |

A broken week with Bank holidays, but I have still managed to be out and about and get in touch with people wanting to speak to me.
A bike marking event was on Thursday (2/4) in Brintons Park. We spoke to a some members of the public, about bike safety and concerns around the new building work around the park.
Today (08/04) I have had a ride along, it was nice to have some company and I wish him all the best with his goals. As advertised I have been out in LISTER PARK. It was great to see the people that turned up. We had few different groups and ages arrive and chat. They came and tried on uniform and had pictures with the car. The local nursery also came out and the kids tried on the uniform and had some colouring. The underlying message for this event was inclusivity and everyone playing in the park together. This message seemed to go down ok with some of the older ones.
It has also been lovely weather for the bank holiday and the last few days. I had to find out my sun cream for this event. I hope you have all covered up when needed and put some sun cream on.
I will be back after my rest days on Monday 13th April 2026. Be safe!
The facts for this week and month are: A political one, On 8 April 1904, the UK and France signed the Entente Cordiale, an agreement that ended centuries of rivalry and hostility between the two countries. 🤝
A good music one, todays date in 1978: Kate Bush released her debut album, featuring "Wuthering Heights".
